Notice To Renters
In July of 2014, The Department of Natural Resources instituted a new policy concerning boat rentals. Effective July 1, 2014, anyone renting a boat must have either a Master’s rating issued by The U.S. Coast Guard or have in hand a Safe Boating course from any other state or Georgia. If you possess neither of these, don’t worry. You can watch the required boat rental video online prior to your rental. Once you arrive allow for about 20 minutes to complete and sign a safety check list pertaining to the video stating you have watched the required video and understand the information provided. Please follow this link to view the rental safety video in it’s entirety. Boater Safety Video
